The Relais is situated on the coast, in an authentic oasis of tranquillity. The famous Piazzetta is only a few minutes walk down the shopping streets Via Camerelle and Via Vittorio Emanuele. And you’ll be only minutes away from the Certosa di San Giacomo, the breathtaking terraces of the Giardini di Augusto and the belvedere di Tragara, which gives access to a beautiful walkway down to the beaches of the Faraglioni and that of Via Pizzolungo, a solitary path running along part of the east coast of the island.

No means of transportation are actually permitted in a vast area surrounding the Relais, with the exception of a few electric carriage for transporting light goods or baggage. Silence and calm is therefore assured, allowing you the opportunity to wander around this island of green, discovering secluded, unforgettable scenery and a delight to the eye at every turn.

The Relais is fully exposed to the south; even when the winter sun is low over the horizon, all terraces are bathed in the tepid rays of the sun.

The Rooms only, all recently renovated, are distributed on 5 floors gently sloping toward the sea. The spacious and elegant Superior Rooms have kept the beauty of the old Caprese architecture with their cross vaults and bright ceramic floors. The terraces have a view on the sea and are partially shaded by the typical arches or by pergolas, or by blooming buganvillea plants.

The Relais has also available the exclusive Deluxe Rooms, which are even more ample and comfortable. Furnished with particular care, these are also fit with a comfortable walk-in wardrobe while both the spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and the more ample terrace face the sea.

The Single Rooms and the only double Standard Room have neither a terrace nor a view of the sea. On the ground floor is a small breakfast room although we suggest that you take advantage of having breakfast on the quiet terraces of each room or on the ample solarium terrace.

Facilities : Private baths, air conditioning, color TV, minibar, safety deposit box, heating, hair dryer and telephone with an outside line. Furthermore, most of the terraces are furnished with comfortable sun tanning beds.
